Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls (12 rolls)
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 lb cooked pulled pork
  • 6 slices ham
  • 1 cup sliced pickles
  • 5 slices Swiss cheese

Glaze

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rolls & Pork: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping all the rolls connected. Place the bottom half on a cookie sheet and coat the inside with ¼ cup Dijon mustard. Spread the cooked pulled pork evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  2. Layer the Fillings: Place the ham slices over the pulled pork, followed by layering the Swiss cheese slices on top. Add the sliced pickles over the cheese. Finally, cover with the top half of the Hawaiian rolls.
  3. Make the Glaze: In a small saucepan, melt ¼ cup butter over low heat. Remove from heat, then stir in ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard, minced garlic, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. Glaze and Bake: Pour the glaze evenly over the top of the sliders and use a pastry brush to ensure every roll is coated. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the tops are golden brown.
  5. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven carefully. Slice them along the original roll lines and serve warm for the best taste.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a little more mustard or even a splash of Cuban-style mojo sauce to the pulled pork before assembling.
  • Use freshly sliced pickles for the best crunch and tang.
  • If you prefer, substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or mozzarella for a milder taste.
  • Covering the sliders while baking helps keep them moist and melts the cheese perfectly.
  • These sliders can be assembled in advance and refrigerated; just add glaze and bake before serving.
