4.9 from 59 reviews

A flavorful and tender Sirloin Steak cooked slowly in a crock pot with a rich blend of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, perfect for an easy and hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, thinly sliced

Sauce

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (balsamic vinegar may be substituted)
  • 1 packet beef gravy mix
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1½ tablespoons cornstarch (optional thickener)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar (if using), beef gravy mix, dry ranch dressing mix, and cornstarch until smooth and well combined.
  2. Cook the steak: Place the thinly sliced sirloin steak into the crock pot. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the steak. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours, or until the steak is tender and cooked through.
  3. Finish the gravy: Once the steak is done, remove it from the crock pot. If the gravy is too thin, thicken it by whisking in a bit more cornstarch mixed with water directly into the crock pot and cook on high heat for a few minutes until desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or additional balsamic vinegar or Worcestershire sauce if desired.
  4. Serve: Plate the tender steak slices and spoon the thickened gravy over the top. Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful crock pot sirloin steak.

Notes

  • You can substitute balsamic vinegar for Worcestershire sauce for a slightly different flavor.
  • Adding cornstarch is optional but helps to thicken the sauce into a smooth gravy.
  • Thinly slicing the sirloin steak before cooking helps it cook evenly and become tender.
  • Serve this dish with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
